The following audio has been tremendously helpful in understanding what biblical counsel is, and how I can walk forward through any of my difficulties if I heed what is being said.
On a personal note, I’ve learnt that most of my problems are down to two main issues. Either, I hear God’s word in scripture and don’t truly accept its authority (unbelief) or I accept it but choose to do it my way instead (disobedience). Lack of faith or disobedience to God’s word underpins most of my struggles and probably highlights either my own immaturity as a Christ follower (or my pride!)
